Blog Post #10

Do You Teach Or Do You Educate
I became an education major because I want to be more to the youth than just a teacher. I want to be a role model, help children with there future plans, and give them knowledge about life. I think this video makes sense because anyone can teach, but it takes someone with knowledge and great skills to be an educator. An educator will make sure you have everything you need to move on in life. We do not want to teach someone something and the next few weeks they forget everything. We should educate our students, so they will have the knowledge we gave them forever.

Don't Let Them Take Pencils Home
In this post, Mr. Johnson wanted to send a message. There are more ways we can help our students, than just in the classroom. We have to take different approaches and look at where they come from also. This message in this post can inspire future teachers with different ways of helping students.
